This unique and charming project involved site improvements and earthwork for a veterans’ memorial garden at a retirement community and skilled care nursing facility, including a retaining wall, landscaping, a life-sized bronze statue of George Washington, and an elaborate fountain and pond. Dedicated in 2017, this peaceful and welcoming space memorializes those who have, and those who continue, to serve. The new hardscape offers serene views for residents and a place to meditate and contemplate.
