This 47,000 s.f. mixed-use project required close co-ordination on a tight urban site. Scope of work included: brownfield remediation, shoring, deep foundations, steel frame and concrete structure, and all necessary work to create the 15 condominium residences, 3 commercial condominiums, and 28 car parking garage at the ground level.
The project is LEED registered under Core and Shell pilot. Energy-efficiency was very important and steps were taken to ensure minimal energy use with filtered fresh air being delivered to each of the residences through an energy recovery ventilation system. Sota Construction Services, Inc., was hired early on in the construction process and played a key part in the decision making process with the design/development team to create this highly successful project.
