A former eight-story 1929 furniture store and linchpin in the Braddock neighborhood converted into nine floors of 37 affordable, sustainably designed artist lofts that revitalize and reinforce a connection back to this community. The building will also features art installations, a restored historic blade sign, and a roof deck fit for dining. Commercial space is also be available on the first floor.

Perfido Weiskopf Wagstaff + Goettel

Demolition of a former Forbs Elementry School and new construction of a 65,000SF, four-story building containing 52 one-and-two bedroom units of affordable senior housing built to Passive House, Energy Star, and Enterprise Green building standards. Amenities include a private parking lot, community room, exercise and recreation rooms, and a library. A garden and walking trail will invite residents back into the neighborhood. The project also features a 130 Kwh solar array system providing supplemental power to the building.

Construction of the Mt. Lebanon Senior Apartments began with the demoliton of a former school followed by significant site re-grading, including a new retaining wall, before new construction of a four-story building could begin. When complete, the project will house 60 one- and two-bedroom units of affordable senior housing built to Passive House and Enterprise Green building standards.

This unique project consisted of a retrofit to a three-story 1897 existing school along with a new addition to convert it into a 68,000 sf future Passive House-certified multifamily apartment building containing 46 units for mixed-income seniors. Morningside Crossing obtained Passive House pre-certification to improve health and wellness benefits for its senior residents while maintaining the historic fabric and beauty of the building.
