This project was a phased renovation of an occupied 75,000 s.f. nursing care facility. The scope of work included major upgrades to mechanical, electrical and life safety systems and alterations to the floor plan for ADA and programmatic compliance. Close coordination was required for maintenance of life safety systems and egress pathways during construction and hazardous materials abatement. Special care was given to indoor air quality issues during construction to prevent infiltration of dust to the occupied areas. Use of low VOC adhesives and paints were included as a part of the project.
